The reredos with its five arches of Prudham stone extends the whole width of the chancel and here between the supporting pillars are portraits in glass mosaic of Our Lord as the Good Shepherd and the four Evangelists each with the Book of his Gospel and his symbol. Made by the Venice and Murano Glass and Mosaic Company in 1881, there are only two other examples of their work in Britain: in St Paul's Cathedral and the Chapel of the House of Commons.
